Sacramento’s J.C. Tran: WPT Player of the Year

There isn’t much debate about whether J.C. Tran of Sacramento is one of the top Texas Hold ’em tournament players around; however, until recently, he was in the running for “best player not to have won a major.” He took care of that hole in his resume by winning the WPT’s World Poker Challenge in Reno last March. He followed it up with a strong showing in the WPT World Championship in Las Vegas, and was recently named the World Poker Tour’s Season V Player of the Year.. click here to read the whole article!
